Q: "After I order, how long does it take for my item\jewel to reach me?"

Ans: For most gift and lifestyle accessories like Silver Articles, Writing Instruments, Fragrances:
It generally takes around 3-6 business days for the item to reach you, as we usually ship your product the same day the payment is realized.

For Diamond and other Jewels:
Since your Diamond and other jewels are made brand new, obviously we have to make them first before they are shipped, hence usually it takes around 10 to 12 days for Diamond, or other Precious Jewels to reach you.

For specially made items or other combined custom orders:
It may take a total of 14-18 business days for the item to reach you, depending on the item type.

Before placing your order, you can contact customer support for an exact delivery estimate for your desired item. Remember, creating your Diamond Jewels is an artistic and skilled job, and hence the more time our artisans have, the more stunning your precious jewel would be!

Q: "Why can’t I get my Diamond Ring in a day or two?"

Ans: As all your jewels are made brand new, they have to be first created by the artisans, which take around 5-7 days (which also involves essential processes including Gold hallmarking, certifying the Diamonds, etc.).

Once the Diamond Ring is ready, we immediately ship it, and it will generally reach you by the 9-11th day. But most of the time, a Diamond jewel gets ready before this time-frame, and may even reach you within a week!

Do note that unlike ANY other store, at Light of Venus, your Diamond Jewel is always created brand new! Hence we request for your patience and support in case it takes 1 or 2 days more than the given time frame.

Q: "How is my Jewelry product shipped? Is it safe?"

Ans: Your Jewelry is shipped by 2 modes:
1. Blue Dart Express Courier Service.
2. Indian Postal EMS Speed Post Service.

It is 100% safe to send your precious items via these modes, because all items are 100% insured, hence in case of theft in transit, the respective organisation is liable for the loss.

Q: "What if the parcel gets lost during transit? Am I liable for it?"

Ans: No, you are not liable for the item if it is lost in transit, as all our items are 100% insured during shipping.

Q: "How do I track my orders?"

Ans: After placing your order, we will update you when your order is shipped; you can then track your order status by signing into your account from any page on the website, and checking the "order status" link.

Alternatively, if you have opted for the Blue Dart Shipping option, we will mail you the respective tracking number when the item has been dispatched, with which you can track your item from their website.

Q: "Do I need to sign the parcel when it reaches me?"

Ans: Yes, if you have ordered for a precious jewelry product, you or the receiver has to sign the parcel when it arrives for safeguarding both, your and our interest.

Q: "What if the item has reached in a damaged or tampered condition?"

Ans: All our precious items come in sealed packing, hence if you find the seal tampered or removed, immediately notify the delivery person that has delivered those tampered or damaged goods.
Secondly, immediately notify us on the same day when you receive the damaged item. You can either e-mail us or call our online sales supervisor.

We will then update you regarding further course of action.

Return Policy questions

Q: "What is your return policy? Can I return an item if I am not satisfied with it?"

Ans: Yes, Light of Venus makes sure that you are not stuck with something you don’t like; hence you can certainly return an item within 21 days if you are not satisfied with it.

Ans: No, certain items do not qualify for a return guarantee, to check which items are eligible, kindly read our return policy.

Q: "How do I send the item back?"

Ans: You can return a non-jewel item by any courier service, and you can return a precious jewelry item via Indian Postal's 'Speed Post', or via Blue Dart Courier Service.

Q: "What are my payment options on your website?"

Ans: You can make your payment via the following options:
1. Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard or Diners Cluc Cards.

2. Net Banking option for these banks: ICICI Bank, AXIS bank, J&K Bank, HDFC Bank.

3. Wire Transfer (Direct Bank Transfer).

Q: "How long will I have to wait for a refund after returning a product?"

Ans: Once we receive your product, it will be checked by our returns department, after which you will be mostly refunded via the same method used for making the payment.
In case of payments made by credit\debit card please allow one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear.

Q: "How do I cancel an order after it has been submitted?"

Ans: To cancel an order, please mail us on support@lightofvenus.com, with your Order number. Please note that our order fulfilment system is designed to ship quickly and efficiently, hence we cannot change or cancel your order once it has already entered the shipping process.
If your order cannot be cancelled, and you still wish to cancel it, simply return it according to our 21 day money back policy.

Q: "How can I be sure of the Diamond and Gold quality?"

Ans: You get 100% quality assurance for your jewels from third-party, world renowned, state-of-the-art institutions.

- All your fancy Diamonds Jewels are certified by the Gemmological Institute of India
- All Diamond Solitaire Rings are accompanied with a Diamond grading report from the Gemological Institute of America, or the International Gemological Institute.
- All Gold jewels are Approved and Hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

Q: "What if I have to resize my ring?"

Ans: Although we request shoppers to be as precise to the actual size as possible, we can resize your ring for no extra cost, within 90 days of your purchase.

Do note that rings can generally be resized only around a ¾th to 1 full size. Also, ring resizing may take around 10-12 business days before the ring is delivered back to you, and this return shipping is payable by the shopper.

Also note that Eternity bands cannot be resized.

Q: "What if I do not like a product?"

Ans: The price of a jewel depends on many factors like weight and type of precious metal used, number, size and quality of diamonds, workmanship involved, etc. Hence though 2 products might look similar, there might be differences in their underlying constituents or manufacturing processes, and consequently a difference in their price.

Q: "What if I would like to return a jewel I ordered, but I have misplaced its Diamond grading certificate, or some other document?"

Ans: If the certificate or some other document is not returned with the product, the appropriate amount will be deducted from the refund amount, depending on the type/nature of the lost item.
